A compilation that runs the gamut between crumping cellophane and dragging
a microphone across a hairbrush. Seriously. There's crackling and hissing.
A few digital pops, then someone seems to drop something small onto something
wooden, maybe. And then you hear nothing for a while... wait no, that's
just a steady bass note. Okay, now that's silence. Ah, whereas that's clearly
something being chilled with dry ice. And there... now someone about 200
yards away has forgotten to turn off their shortwave radio. It's pretty
much like that for a whole 2 discs. A whole mess of artists with a penchant
for field effects contributed curious little snippets of life to this menagerie,
and it's quite a something. It can get loud at times, but most of it you'd
miss if you weren't staying in the moment. Limited pressing... but it includes
an extra pair of discs for your micro-curious friends.
